BIG ANNOUNCEMENTS GALORE!!!

When the ball dropped on New Year’s Eve last year, I had one goal for 2010.  That was to be published by the end of the year.  It’s funny how things happen in cluster and out of the blue.  As I type this blog, I am astonished at the thought of what has transpired for me as of late.  Here is the lowdown.
I have participated in Choate Road.com’s online serial and written chapter three of their five-chapter round robin “Forgotten Warnings” story.  You can find it here for the next few weeks:
My short story, “Cutting Class” will be in Pill Hill Press’s Dark Things II anthology, will now be available at the end of October!!!! I will post the links to purchase the book as soon as it goes live!
“Excitable Boy” short story will be in “Fell Beasts” anthology by Dark Quest books and will be available in December.  I will tell you that I am in some amazing company with this anthology!
I will have another short story in Dark Quest’s “Relics & Remains” anthology, due out in March.  I am beyond honored and excited about the author line-up with this project!  You can check out both author lists here: http://tyschwamberger.com/
Last but certainly NOT least, is my novella, “Tones of Home” in the anthology, Twisted Tales from the Torchlight Inn from Wicked East Press.  This book is very near and dear to me.  This is what got the ball rolling for me.  I got to work with two great writers and now friends on this project. I also created the covers and I’m very, very excited about its release, which will be in February and you can find more information here: http://sites.google.com/a/wickedeastpress.com/wicked-east-press/coming-soon

I've also been commissioned to paint a book cover for Lincoln Crisler's limited edition weird wester, WILD coming out in March.  You can pre-order it here: http://lincolncrisler.info/

All these books will be available through the publisher’s websites and Amazon.com, and all online retailers.  If you want, you can go to your local Borders, or Barnes and Noble and order them.  Either way, I will appreciate your support!
While I know I’m no Stephen King or Brian Keene, (yet) I’m still leaps and bounds from where I was four years ago when I set out on this crazy adventure of writing.  As with everything you do in life, it’s in stages and I feel that I’m chugging along on my path and approaching another way station/stage.  It’s a very exciting time and I want to thank all of you who have encouraged me, asked me about my writing and given me support.  You all rock and you KNOW who you are!
I will of course, when all the books are released, I will post links on here, Facebook, my group on FB and promote with email, skywriting, smoke signals and any other means possible and again, I cannot thank you enough for your help and support!  I truly hope you really dig my stories as well as the other amazing writers in all the above anthologies.
It’s my plan by this time next year, to have my very own novel that I can hawk and pester you all to buy and read.  Hey, I AM a writer after all, it’s what we do!
Next blog will be all Halloween, all the time!
Thank you again and be safe out there!
