As amazing and productive 2010 was, boy oh boy, 2011 is going to make it look like I was taking a nap that would have embarrassed good ol’ Rip Van Winkle. I have some great news, some amazing things planned for this year, and I am extremely proud of the projects that will be coming out.
Here is a rundown of solidified projects: (Some came out last year but so close to 2011, I threw them in anyway.)
I will be working with AMBROTOS PRESS as an editor on a few projects over the next year or so and it’s a true honor to be working with them. Make sure to check them out, you won’t be disappointed.
COMING OUT IN 2011
“Cutting Class” was published in the Dark Things II anthology, put out by Pill Hill Press. This was a major milestone because this was my very first published story.
“Forgotten Warnings; Part 3”- Greg Hall, aka The Funky Werepig asked me to take part in the Choate Road website online serial story. If you didn’t get a chance to check it out, well you’re out of luck my friend. However, I’m sure it will show up some where some day.
“Tones of Home”- a novella that will be in “Twisted Tales from the Torchlight Inn- Anthology. It will be released in February through Wicked East Press. This project is one of my favorites due the fact I got to work with two great writers, now great friends Dean Harrison and Ty Schwamberger. You are going to love the stories in this anthology, I promise.
*Cover art. DUE OUT FEBRUARY
“Excitable Boy” A short story that is coming out in Dark Quest Books’ Fell Beasts Anthology. A cute little ditty about a poor misunderstood soul. *I also designed the cover for Fell Beasts and it came out really cool.
*Cover art. DUE OUT THIS MONTH.
WILD book cover for Lincoln Crisler. An acrylic painting that was very challenging but came out pretty good. You can order the great book here: http://lincolncrisler.info/?page_id=1322
DUE OUT FEBRUARY
“Pickin’ & Grinnin’”- Short story for Ambrotos Press’s – Relics & Remains Anthology
. *Cover art. DUE OUT MARCH
“The Unfortunate Case of Carleton Meeks”- Short Story will be in a prestigious dark fiction magazine this spring. I will announce details when they are available.
“Death, Be Not Proud.” Editor – Zombie Anthology for Ambrotos Press- DATE TBA
PROJECTS OUTSTANDING:
“Aeternus Umbra- Book I” my first novel and its all zombies baby, circa 1985. It has been submitted and I am really hoping it is picked out. All you zombie/apocalypse/coming-of-age book lovers will make this a must buy…Even if I say so myself... And I do.
“Zombie Novella”- Let us just say this sucker would have made Dino proud!
“Holiday Picture Book”- I’m very, very excited about this project. Once finished I’m hoping to have out in time for the Christmas shopping season. It just might replace “T’was A Night…”
“Vampire Novella”- Yup, that’s right... I may be a day late and a dollar short, but I’m throwing my hat into the vamp ring. Don’t think it’s just another Twilight of Rice rip off. Trust me you’ll dig it.
I will of course be doing various book covers and mural paintings throughout the year. Maybe even a short story or three.
If you are in need of book artwork, feel free to drop me a line. I would love to work with you and see what we can come up with.
That’s it so far folks. Not too shabby huh? I do hope you give my work a shot and hope you really enjoy it.
I can’t thank you enough for all your support and friendship.
I guess ‘working them angles’ ain’t such a bad thing after all!
